There are several opportunities to write a seminar paper at the Institute of Money and International Finance during your bachelor and/or master studies. In general, all students of Economics and Management and Engineering Management can participate in our seminars. However, some previous knowledge about money, finance and empirical economics is recommended. All seminars in the bachelor's degree can be credited towards both the BWL major and the VWL major.
Seminars, that are included in the master studies, have always an empirical and econometrical part, which is performed in group work. Previous knowledge of using appropriate statistical software (e.g. STATA, R, Matlab) is recommended, but not necessary.
If you attend one of the seminars you will be provided with a password to access the documents on StudIP for data research, literature research and academic writing and presentation.
